Sunlite Adventures Travel & Tours in partnership with Naga City and other tourism partners launches “A Breath of Fresh Air” on November 14, 2025 at LGU Naga, a people-first, eco-friendly tourism movement for a sustainable Naga. Mayor Leni Robredo joins the forefront in promoting this new wave of meaningful Purpose Tourism in the country—Naga City being the first ever city to endorse Purpose Tourism in the Philippines also marks a historical moment for Philippine Tourism.

A Breath of Fresh Air showcases new Purpose-Drive Travel Menus to put “VolunTOURism” at the forefront, turning leisure trips into transformative learning experiences that leaves a lasting positive impact on you and the community.
What Is Purpose Tourism?
Purpose tourism is, “travel with intent”. Immersive journeys that pair learning and cultural exchange with measurable social or environmental impact, guided by local leadership and ethical practice.
Also called “purposeful travel” or “mission-driven travel”, Purpose Tourism is travel designed around intentional impact centered around meaningful activities that teach, give back, or help solve local challenges. This can mean volunteering on a conservation project, learning traditional crafts from community elders, supporting social enterprises, joining a citizen-science survey, or traveling with the explicit aim of contributing time, skills, or funds to a local priority.
Purpose Tourism sits at the intersection of learning, service, and cultural exchange. Balancing the traveler’s desire for growth and experience with the real needs, leadership, and long-term wellbeing of host communities and ecosystems. Creating a two-way flow: travelers return changed (new skills, new perspectives, a greater purpose in life) while communities gain sustainable support, capacity, or market access.
